The white Stripes discography

The White Stripes recorded six studio albums. 

In 1999 they released "The White Stripes" - their debut album.
Example songs from this album: "Screwdriver" and "St. James Infirmary Blues".

In 2000 their second album: "De Stijl" came out.
The title comes from the name of a Dutch art movement (which means "The Style"), admirer of which was the lead singer of The White Stripes - Jack White.

In 2001 the group released their breakthrough album "White Blood Cells".
This album made the band very popular. Example songs from this album: "Hotel Yorba" and "Fell in Love with a Girl".

Another album appeared on 2003 and was called "Elephant".
This album brought their first success on UK charts. Example songs from this album are: "Seven Nation Army" and "I don't know what to do with myself".

In 2005 the band released album called "Get Behind Me Satan".
Famous songs from this album are "Blue Orchid", "Little Ghost" and "My Doorbell".

Their last album so far appeared in 2007 and was named "Icky Thump".
